Isn’t it a great feeling to have someone compliment what you’re wearing? Or ask you “where did you get your top from? Without sounding the slight bit conceited I received a few lovely comments today when walking the streets of London Town. Despite not being a fully fledged ultimate fashion blog, I do like to talk about fashion quite a bit. So every first of the month I intend to enlighten you all with my wardrobe wears- or just whenever my outfit I feel deems suitable to share with the wonderful world. I think fashion is such a big statement in the world and how you dress has a big impact on how people view you, and how you view yourself. As Coco Chanel once said…
“I don’t do fashion, I am fashion.”

Today for me was the first day of autumn and I wanted to create a style that represented the outdoor conditions that I could see from peering through my window at 7am. The trees rustling with fallen leaves and a not-so-rude blast of air. So I thought it was appropriate to dress in muted and darkish colours, but not too wrapped up that I was warm enough for my clothes to produce its own hot chocolate. Hmm. Now how satisfying would that be on a breezy kind of day.
While colour and prints are most definitely on the rise for the autumn season, earthy, neutral tones form the foundation of our wardrobes – black, grey, navy and white being the particular favourites. Hence, I opted for the black and navy approach and then a splash of green in the centre and middle. Green is about as earthy and muted as colours come and serves as a great option when constructing a classic look and that’s what I was going for. My purchase of the classic fedora, in moss green with a complementary tan-coloured belt, is just right for channelling fall chic looking so on point with tousled waves. – Accessorize £29.00
If your going to buy just one pair of shoes for the season, make it these clompers, they are so perfect for stomping around town and becoming your new best friend with straight cut boot legged jeans or pair of tights – Primark £16.00
