Date Night

Valentines, Valentines, Valentines…

A day of the year that a lot of people are indulged in with their love ones or people think it’s so overrated. I think the pressure we put on ourselves to find “a valentine” for this one day can be a bit much. I know I for one in the past have always ended up moaning about my relationship status as being single to my best friend. Nevertheless this year was very different for me. I actually it enjoyed it. This post will somewhat turn into something fashion/shopping conscious, as most of my posts do.

So what did I do?

My boyfriend purchased tickets for 3 floored boat party. Whether you were single, taken were curiously in between, this was the ideal excuse to drown your single sorrows amongst friends or celebrate your love life with a partner as you cruised around London. Taking in all the cities (which me and Danny (my boyfriend) didn’t do was an option also. Let’s just say I was too busy dancing away to Justin Bieber and some old school So Solid Crew (21 Seconds) and probably drinking a whole load of vodka and cranberry.

As a Valentines treat for my boyfriend I wanted to dress up elegantly for the occasion.

So what did I wear?

Angel Rose Cross Sequin Dress // Pretty Little Thing £30.00 Now £18.00

I never got a chance to wear this stunning dress on my birthday or New Years. Own any room this season with this stand-out sequin mini dress. Featuring a wrap-front design, fierce strap detail and zip fastening, this one is sure to get you noticed. I was practically a shining disco ball on the boat.

Silver Clutch Bag // New Look

Don’t forget guys despite the romantic night I had, I’m sure you all enjoyed it with whoever and remember for next Valentines, just express your love and appreciate not only for your romantic partner. But also for those that you value, such as your friends, family, or even your cat (I guess). That’s if you have one!
