Back On The Scenery X LFWSS18
I would like to think that this is the beginning. Since I’ve taken a well-earned break away from my blogging; and in that time I've graduated, explored a new career path (sort of), travelled and worked non-stop. Let's say that I've blossomed and blended more within the surroundings of the world. But, a break/busy period has somehow turned into a lengthy absence. Now finally, the time has come for me to make a comeback to blogging. I'm back on the scene.
In-between job hunting and now trying to form and balance my social life; I'm now committed to focusing on my blog again and doing what I do love to do best- showcasing my recent purchases, throwing-together outfits, growing passion for styling and of course travelling the world. I will be updating and reposting old stories from my old blog; taking a trip down memory lane to all the things I've been up to the last couple of months, the things I’m getting with right now and finally sharing other stories and daydreams about my life.
For this first entry I felt that I should start of with a thread of my London Fashion Week SS18 outfit because it was the day I really thought about the rebirth of my blog and how all my experiences had given me an introduction to the style scene through previous shows I've attended and recent shoots I've been working on. Also just meeting amazing people within the industry who have inspired me to rethink my wardrobe. More importantly just being an ordinary girl living in my hometown - London town!
Keeping this short and sweet! I opted for a clean look as I'm a lover of stripes and early summer was all about the florals, now it’s time for the stripes to make its mark. Sticking with the season of the shows I fell in love with this tall edition blouse - petite girls can wear tall garments too! Just buy a size one or two sizes down from what you'll normally wear. My top is bold as it features an elasticated bardot neck with frill and long sleeves with layered frills - creating a really flattering shoulder and neck line. As London Fashion Week took place in the midst of September, the weather was pleasant and I wasn't ready to brave the autumnal colours as of yet. Choosing a statement colour to be the centre of attention - my shoes! Metallic, royal blue loafers which were on sale at Pull & Bear. To not interfere with the color/pattern combination I complimented my outfit with a pair of on trend Plisse trousers.
